Holding My Own

Somebody asked me to define my “Mr. Right” on my ~other blog~, so I thought I might post it on here, as well. (Sorry for the cross-post for those of you who follow both!)

He’s got to:

• be smart
• be able to make me laugh, even when I’m having a horrible day
• love to travel
• be ok with staying in and cuddling on the couch while we watch the same movie we’ve seen hundreds of times before
• like cats - THIS IS A MUST

I freely admit that I’m not an easy person to put up with, so he’s got to be able to live with my:

• ADD/ADHD
• OCD/neurotic-ness
• slobbishness
• (fluid) obsession with Canada/England/Australia
• love of:
  • sci-fi (Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Fringe, Doctor Who etc.)
  • British tv (Doctor Who, Top Gear, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Doctor Who…..did I mention Doctor Who?)
  • video games

And it wouldn’t hurt if he looked like Chord Overstreet and Logan Lerman’s lovechild, with maybe a little of “Spieling Peter” (the Peter Pan from Disneyland that Tumblr went crazy over a while back) thrown in.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this Mr. Right exists. At least not anywhere near where I live. So I’m probably going to be holding my own for quite a bit longer. :-\
